Saturday night was her first performance and she did awesome. The other girl in the picture is Carly, her cousin. Carly is in the performance too and she did awesome too. Way to go girls!!!!

Good Morning......

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

 Things have been really busy around my house for the last week or so.  I was busy making place setting decorations for Thanksgiving, preparing the Thanksgiving 

dinner, spending time with my wonderful husband, and celebrating my sons birthday 3 days after Thanksgiving.  Now it is time to get back into the swing of things.  The first thing I want to share with you are the darling turkey place tags I made for our Thanksgiving Table.  These little Turkeys were a bit time consuming but so so fun and everyone loved them.  They also got to take theirs home with them.

We also had one Aimie's friends Sarah and her family join us for dinner.  They were visiting from Texas and this was the first time that Sarah's husband, Shane had been to Utah.  He fell in love with Utah and would like to live here.  We also were able to go to a movie with them on the day after Thanksgiving and then we ran into them at the Temple grounds on Friday night.  It was so good to see Sarah and her sweet family.

The other thing that I have been doing is getting ready for my December Workshop!!!!

This will be a very simple and quick one. It is a 2 page 12 X 12 layout and the Joy Blocks (see attached picture).

I will be holding this workshop on Thursday December 6th and Tuesday December 11th from 6:30 - 8:30 P.M. The cost of this workshop is $17.00

Several of you have already signed up but if you haven't signed up and still want to attend please let me know by Friday, November 30th so I will have time to get product ordered.

It is workshop time again. Below are the photos of November's Workshop.

Are You a Good Witch or a Bad Witch?

Either way, every witch needs a broomstick and here is a great party favor or easy craft that even kids can make.

Use a brown or black licorice stick and place in a clear bag. I used a 1x8 bag from clearbags.com. You may want to let the licorice sit in the air for a bit so it's not quite as sticky when you put it in the bag.  Bend the licorice once in the bag so that it is a little crooked like a witches broom.

Cut the following shape using the Cricut Close to My Heart Artiste cartridge. It's on the sewing button.

I sponged the edges a bit with chocolate ink, and kind of roll the bottoms up with a pencil or pen and then attached it to the licorice with a glue dot and wrapped it around, securing it in place with another glue dot. Add a cute stamped tag (I used Perfect Fit--Halloween), tied on with a bit of hemp.

SO MANY THINGS TO SHARE TODAY........

I have so much to share today I don't know where to begin......OK, I will begin with the Halloween Party that I host each year for my grand kids.  Last night I was tired and didn't feel like creating anything but I knew that they look forward to getting mail so I sat down and quickly created the following invitation for my Halloween Party this coming Sunday.  I used yesterday's Mojo Monday design.  I think it turned out way cute!!!!!!!!

This weekend we went to the Pumpkin Patch as a family and let the kids pick out pumpkins.  The patch that we went to had a cute Corn Maze for the little kids, a display of Old Tractors, and a Hay Ride.  The kids had a fun time looking for their pumpkins and participating in the other activities.  Afterwards we went to dinner at Gecko's.  I love it when we get together and do things as a family.  It takes a bit of planning around everyone's busy schedules but it is soooooo worth it!!!!!

And finally, about a month ago I was at The Wood Connection and I fell in love with some darling witches shoes.  It has been forever since I created something with wood so I bought the wood and supplies and put this darling Halloween decoration together.  I love how it turned out!!!!!!

CTMH IS AWESOME!!!!

As most of you know I wanted so badly to earn the last incentive trip that CTMH offered and made it 1/3 of the way and just kind of fizzled out.  I so want to go on another one of their trips.  You are treated like royalty and truly appreciated for the effort that you have put in to earn the trip.  Not only that it is a nice treat for your spouse who supports and helps you make your business successful.  So enough said, now it's time to get serious about earning this next trip! I LOVE FALL!!!!!

Fall is my favorite time of year.  I love the beautiful colors, the smell in the air, cool mornings and evenings but warm days.  I love all of the holidays that are celebrated in the fall, yes you could say I love everything about this time of the year.  Yesterday DeWayne and I took an afternoon drive up to the Uintas .  Just wanted to share a few of the pictures that DeWayne took.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND

For the first time since DeWayne and I have been married we were able to take a little family get away with my family.  Lynn wasn't able to come because of work but everyone else was there.  We went to Great Basin National Forest.  We saw the beautiful Lehman Caves, took a couple of little hikes, drove to Wheelers Peak, looked for Garnets at Garnet Hill, took a train ride in Ely and toured the original train station offices and train yard.  We also saw some Carbon Pots that were really interesting and of course Jon and K.J. felt like they had to climb to the top of them.  Below is a picture of us below Wheeler Peak.  What a fun trip!!!!

SEPTEMBER WORKSHOP

For the September workshop we will be using the darling Moonlight paper.  I love this paper because not only does it have the Halloween feel but it also has the Autumn feel so it is very versatile and can be used for many different themes.  This workshop includes a 2 page 12X12 layout, 1 card, 1 coffin treat box (which I am redesigning because I wasn't happy with the one I had at the Open House), and a darling frame.

The cost for the entire workshop is $24.00.  You can do the frame only for $10.00, or you can do the Layout, card, and treat box for $15.00.  You customize this to suit your wants.

Dates are Tuesday September 18th and Thursday September 20th.  Time is 6:30 until 9:00 at my house.

JULY WORKSHOP!!!!!

Call me crazy (with Convention and everything) but I couldn't resist haveing a Workshop in July.  I love this darling layout inspire by my talented upline Sheri Rottler.  It is perfect for any kind of sun pictures whether at the beach a lake or just a plain old swimming pool.
