Crawl On Over........................

I was looking for something cute to make for my clients and came across this darling spider on Rachel Ventura's Blog.  I changed him a bit but thought that he turned out really cute.  He was cut with the Close To My Heart AP Cricut Cartridge.  Inside is a small York Peppermint Patty.  If I make any more of these I think I will buy the Pearsons Peppermint Patties as they are wrapped differently and are rounder so you wouldn't be able to see the wrapper.
Directions:
Cut 2 Black  2 1/2" Scallop Circles For Body
Cut 4 Creme Brulee 1 1/2" <tag 3> For Legs
Cut 2 White 1/2" circles for Eyes
Cut 1 Creme Brulee 1/2" circle for Nose
Sponge Creme Brulee pieces in honey or a color of your choice.
Either draw black circles, punch out black circles with a standard paper punch or use our largest Licorice Pearls in black for eyes.
Assemble with adhesive and enjoy!!!!!

Fun at the Pumpkin Patch

Friday evening DeWayne and I met Aimie and Kevin and took the kids to the Pumpkin Patch in Draper.  Jon and Misti were out of town and we were tending the kids while they were gone.  We thought it would be a fun time to do a grandkids activity.  The older kids had no problem picking out their pumpkins, Jack was more excited about pulling the wagon and filling it with pumpkins and Zoe wanted the perfect pumpkin so it took her the longest to find the one she wanted.  Afterwards they wanted to eat at Subway (go figure, not my choice of a Friday night dinner but oh well).  We had a good time being with them.  We love spending time with them.  They each hold a special place in our hearts.

Thursday Thought

I just came across this thought on facebook.  My niece had posted it and I though it was great.  I wish I would have had it when my girls were growing up and having boy problems.  I hope that it is something you might enjoy reading.
Have a "Treemendous" Thursday.

I Love Fall !!!!!!

Fall is my favorite time of the year.  I love the cool mornings and evenings and the warm days.  I love the smell in the air.  It reminds me of when I was a child.
This past weekend DeWayne and I took a ride up Ogden Canyon, over to Monte Cristo, through Hanksville, into Evanston and down through Parleys Canyon. The leaves were just beautiful. We stopped and had a delicious dinner at the Loco Lizard in Park City.    I thought I would share a few of the pictures that my talented husband shot that day.  I love his amazing work.

Try "Studio J"

Although I do not print many of my layouts in Studio J (I still like touching and smelling the papers, and creating with my hands), I do use it to set up my layouts.  I go in and play with the papers that I want and the layout that I desire.  I have found that by doing this I eliminate a lot of paper waste.  I no longer cut and place and then change my mind.  I have it all there in front of me the way I like it before I begin to cut and assemble.  However you choose to use Studio J, I know that this is a program that you will love!!!!!
