Weekend Fun!!!!!

What a great weekend we had.  Jon and Misti asked us to go to St. George with them and watch the kids while they ran a 13 mile trail race. We left Friday morning and set out for St. George.  The weather wasn't that nice but boy did we have fun.  Friday we shopped at the Outlets and enjoyed dinner at the Brick Oven.

Saturday was the race.  Jon and Misti left just after 6:00  so DeWayne and I took the kids to breakfast at the Bear Paw Cafe (one of my favorite eating spots in St. George).  We then took the kids to watch Jon and Misti come across the finish line of the race.  We timed it just perfect.  We had only been there maybe 10 minutes when they came across.  Zoe and Jack played on the playground equipment for a while and then we headed back to the hotel to rest and get showered and ready for the movie in the afternoon.  We went to see Oz the Great and Terrible.  I wasn't too excited about seeing it but I actually enjoyed it.  We had dinner at Poncho's and Lefty's and the ice cream at Cold Stone.  Jon and Misti and the kids headed out Sunday morning.  The weather was beautiful that day so DeWayne and I took a quick trip to Zions.  It was such a fun weekend and such a much needed get away.  Thank you Jon and Misti!!!!!
